Professional Principles

Confidentiality, independence, fee transparency

Professional Principles

The legal profession rests on independence, confidentiality and the avoidance of conflicts of interest. At Dirayet Law we secure these principles with written policies.

Confidentiality

Every piece of information and every document a client entrusts to us is confidential under Article 36 of the Attorneyship Law and the Attorneyship Rules. Access is limited to the matter team and logged.

Conflicts of interest

Before accepting a new matter we run a conflict check across all our offices. We never act for two opposing parties in the same dispute.

Fee transparency

Fees may be fixed, retained or success-based. Every structure is set in advance in a written power of attorney and fee agreement, and the Turkish Bar Association minimum fee tariff is never undercut.

Professional development

Our lawyers complete at least 40 hours of professional training a year; trainees work under the supervision of a senior lawyer on every matter.
